1.      God gives all his believers the same faith no matter what our duties are. Just because we may not teach or preach we all still have just as much faith as the other. You have to want it also, by studying and doing the will of God.

2.      Every Christian should read this verse and make it there’s. The more you study God’s word and hear his word through teachings the more knowledge you will receive from God. The more knowledge you receive the more grace and peace you will also receive. Dwelling in Gods knowledge will also keep you from worldly things, let not your mind idle that we might get off track.

3.      Just as God’s power saved us from the penalty of sin, God also gives us power to live holy lives. Through knowledge we receive power to follow Jesus Christ through all sufferings that this world may bring upon you. You will suffer things through this walk of life here on earth. Christ called us by showing us his glory and revealing the wonders of his excellence.

4.      The Bible or the word of God is full of God’s Promises. The promise of healing, eternal life with God and mansions. The promise of power to withstand all that this world can put before you. Just on and on with promises. Promises from God are very precious and great. God also promised the more that we think like him the more we will become like him. This should be one of our desires and prayers that we think more like God.

5.      Diligence means pursuing one's goals with conviction, persistence and dedication. Virtue means moral excellence or goodness of life. We need to give God 100%, all we have. At work or at home when you are doing a task do you not give it your all. This is how we should be with God also, give God your all everything you have.

6.      Temperance means the practice of moderation. Temperance of prayer, self control,Bible study, use of time and curbing or controling the desires of the flesh.  We need to practice more of the things with protain to God and not of the world.

7.      Love your brother and treat him with kindness. Brotherly love shows the world that we are Christians and that we are different from the world. Love all mankind. Love your enemy’s and show them kindness, love them with the same love that Christ had for us.

8.      If you practice all these things and all these things are in you, then you will not be unfruitful. Live your life for God give it your all be fruitful.

9.      If you do not have these things in you then you are following the world or the desires of the flesh and not the things of God. You are shortsided, blind and forgetful that you were cleansed from your sins and you are going backwards and not forward.

10.  We are to pursue or calling and to study Gods word, to love or brethren and keep Gods commandments. If we do this with a sincere heart and give it our all we shall never fall. God Never said we would no make mistakes in like, we all do in this walk of life, but if we pursue or calling diligence we will never fall.

11.  If we keep the Gods word and keep his commandments we have a promise to the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

12.   Negligent means a charge brought before a person, God is just reminding us of all these things and to be  established in Gods word and wisdom with is truth.

13.  It is our duty as Christians to stir up the word of God in the saints. To keep us from spiritual drowning. To keep us in remembrance of the cross.

14.  Peter was speaking of his death here and that his time was soon coming and the manner in witch he would die. Peter Knew he would not be going by the way of Rapture, but Gods children need to live each day as if it was the day when Christ will return. No one knows the hour of Christ’s return but the Father.

15.  Peter is saying that after he is gone to keep in remembrance the things which he had brought to us. Our life should reflect in the same way. We should live for God in the manner that when our time comes, that we should be remembered as someone who loved God with all there heart and kept the commandments and the will of God.

16.  We are not to follow after wise tells, but to read Gods word and to know what it says so we will know the truth. Peter, Paul and John had seen Jesus in the same glory in which he will return to this earth. They had witness his Glory and knew the truth. We have witness his glory when we ask Christ to forgive us and to come into our hearts. His love and the Holy Spirit lives within us.

19.  Prophecy of the prophets in the O.T. times where fulfilled and the events were confirmed. Take heed Jesus Christ is our shinning light in dark places. Christ is our Hope in times of need. As sure as the rising of the morning star Christ is coming back for his people.

20.  Gods words where not from man But from God himself and his word is not Private, but for the whole world to read and understand

21.  Gods Holy men spoke as they where moved by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is Gods word it has stood throughout time. It was written by men that had witness Gods Love, Mercy, and Grace.
