Psalms 96

1-2    Sing unto the Lord a new Song, when we believe and are saved by the grace of God we receive a new heart, new mind, and new attitude, toward life. When Christ returns to get his people we will sing with a new song and it will be a universal song that all his children will know and praise the one worthy to be praised. We need to bless the name of the Lord and give him the praise that’s due to him and to bear witness of his mercy and his grace.

3-6     What we will be doing when Jesus returns for us we need to be doing now what we will doing then, to be praising him and for his mercy, love, honesty, goodness, faithfulness, and his unchanging Spirit and for his beauty. God Jehovah is the only true God, Silver, gold, rubies and many other things of this world men worship. But what good are they when God calls and its your time to face death, will these things that men put before God help them??,   the answer is no when they pass from this life to eternal life the things of this earth will remain behind. So what good is it to gain wealth, it is better to be poor and know the Lord then to have all the riches of the world?

7-9 If we as children of God really Love and Appreciate God for whom he really is we will Praise him and honor him for his greatness and for the unending love he has for us. Only God deserves our praise and we should offer God honor for he is our Father and we are his children and he wants the best for us. God gave his son that we might have life eternal and that we could escape hell death and the grave. Jesus Christ suffered more then any of us could imagine so that we might have life. He was beaten and bruised beyond what the human mind can comprehend. No other man has suffered any more then Jesus suffered for us.  As Christmas approaches this year just remember what it’s about. Its About the birth of our savior Jesus Christ who gave his life at cavalry so that we might have life. He defeated Satan and his angles 

10 When the Lord returns he shall establish the earth and Judge his people righteously and he shall not be moved. People since the beginning of time have been trying to  destroy the word of God, Bibles have been burned and even the bones of the first man to write the Bible in English where burned along with the Bibles in 1400’s The world does not want to know the truth today, they want to live the way they want to and they want the world to proclaim that its ok to live in the manner there living in.

11-13   All Creation is invited to join in fest when the Lord will return and rule with righteous and honesty. Christ is coming to rule over the world but why isn’t the world looking for his coming. Be prepared we know not the hour or the day that Christ my return for his people, look up keep your eyes upon the Lord.
